Description
kdesvn 1.5.5 - KDE 4.8.2
Steps to reproduce:
- start kdesvn
- File -> Open
- Repository URL https://server/ressource -> OK
Message: Unable to connect to a repository at URL ' https://server/ressource' Server sent unexpected return value (401 Authorization Required) in response to OPTIONS request for ' https://server/ressource'
Consequence: Respository can not be accessed using kdesvn. Using commandline svn client works flawlessly. This client stores passwords in kwallet.

Unfortunately the error is the same. I startet KDE as a newly created user, just to be sure and removed the checkmark in kwallet "Enable KDE wallet subsystem".

Hm. Here it works perfect.... Sure, that in apache configuration all options are set? Kdesvn does a little bit more than the subversion command line client.
Or which kind auf auth is configured in apache? May that this is the problem.

What happens when you disable password storage?
