Confusion on "collapsed" directory structures

If you have a situation where a structure of this sort (relative to repository root):
is moved to, e.g.
all attempts at differencing versions that "span" the committed move will fail with nonsense path names in the error message. It is quite repeatable, although I admit it took me a while to assemble something in that form :-). The problem did occur in a "real world" situation where the SVN repository was built up with cvs2svn.
FWIW, SmartSVN and/or the command line svn have no problem at all in this situation. It's something particular to kdesvn.
