When a commit fails, the user has to enter the complete log message again

Sometimes I write a comprehensive log message when I want to commit changed files or directories - and then the commit fails because of some minor mistake on my part. Unfortunately, the log message I have just typed is lost, and when I fix my mistake and try again, I have to re-type the whole thing.

Suggestion: When a commit fails, remember the log message typed by the user and automatically enter it into the message window when the user tries to commit the same directory again.
