Description

Some ideas for an improved property editor:

I quite like TortoiseSVNs property editor, it has some good points. The property editor has some predefined properties selectable via a dropdown list (e.g. svn:*). These predefined properties show a tooltip, when selected, with a short description and suggestions for possible values. The list of predefined properties is different for files and folder (e.g svn:externals only makes sense for folders). If you add a self defined property this dropdown list could be automatically extended with that property so that you don't have to retype it again on further usage.

I have some issues with the property editor too.. First, it seems to be hidden very well... why is it not avialable via right-klick (context menu)?

Besides that, I miss the feature to apply a property recursively, which is quite important if you would want to ignore a whole bunch of files with a certain extension down a src-tree for example.

next release there is a always visible window listing the properties of current selected items where you may edit them.

the recursive setting of properties... no idea how to do it this moment, may come later.

I just want to add my vote for the recursive setting of properties, I really miss this feature.
