Directory's with missing items not color marked anymore?

Description (last modified by alwin) (diff)

In previous versions of KdeSvn (<0.12), deleting a file from a working
copy directory (through my file manager) would mark that directory with
a color - in KdeSvn. You'd see at once whether a working copy had _any_
files missing. With version 0.12 and 0.13, a directory that's got files
missing (deleted by hand) isn't shown marked anymore.

Is this a bug? Hopefully it's not a feature - it used to be real nice to
be able to see whether there were files deleted from a working copy!

Thanks,

Johan Tilstra

May that I don't understand what you mean: When I delete a file with filemanager it will marked colored.

And the folders above where never marked. Them only marked when an item was conflicted, added or updated. but meanwhile on a commit kdesvn displays That mssing entries and ask if them should get deleted from repository, too.

Do you mean this?

Hi there,

I've created two screenshots that hopefully will make this issue a
little clearer. With my file manager I've deleted the file
'~$ievenmacro.doc' from my file system. Kdesvn does show me the missing
file (see 'kdesvn - folder opened.png') but the parent folder ('Van
Gogh') isn't colored. In the screenshot 'kdesvn - folder collapsed.png'
you'll see the folder isn't color marked.

It should be colored red, shouldn't it? Currently, I'm using version
0.12.1. I haven't tested previous versions, but I did test 0.13, and saw
the same behaviour.

Is this some kind of setting that I don't seem to be able to find? A
folder with missing items should be marked, shouldn't it?

Thanks!
Johan

  • Status changed from new to assigned
  • Component changed from All to UI/KPart

Ok, I think I understand what you mean.

I'll think about it again, if I let missing items mark the parent folders, too. And how and what is more important to show (missing items, modified items, updated items).
